If you have a large company, then you probably have an idea of how much phone service can cost. When you have ten lines or more, plus internet, it can get quite expensive. Now there is another choice. A voice T1 line is a reliable phone line that gives you as many phone lines as you need and internet. It uses fiber optic lines or the usual copper wires that just produce an analog signal.

A voice T1 line transmits more per second. While a copper wire transmits 30,000 bits per second, a full T1 line transmits 1.544 megabits per second. This is a really huge difference. You can see how the internet on this line would be a lot faster than on the normal line.

Most major businesses have a T1 line these days. If they don't, then they will soon. They just need to have a fiber optic line installed in their phone line. You can actually have as many twenty four phone lines for the same price.

The cost of this type of line can cost as much as $200 to $1000 per month. The cost will depend on how far away you are from your local phone company. The line will also need to be connected for access so you will be paying for ISP charges as well. The two charges are loop and port which are combined together on the bill.

A voice/data T1 line seems to cost a lot of money, but it is actually the same price or even cheaper than the regular phone lines if you have internet and a lot of phone lines. It really pays for itself after awhile and in time, the cost promises to go down.

The bigger the business, the better option this is for them. You will end up with much faster internet and more reliable phone lines. It is a lot more reliable.

A dedicated T1 line has to be looped from the business to the local phone company and the cost is dependent on how far in between they are. When you install these lines, you will only pay one price for up to 24 phone lines. This is a perfect option for the big companies that need to save money. What business doesn't need to save a few extra dollars these days?

As time moves forward, the price will end up dropping on T1 lines. As it grows in popularity, more people will want it and demand lowered prices. Right now, it is just not affordable for most residential homes because of the price.

When your business uses a lot of phone lines and the internet, think about getting the voice/data T1 line installed in your business's building. You will notice that you will have more reliable phone service and it will end up being less money per month. In this economy, we can all use to save a few dollars. It can really help the bottom line and also improve your company's efficiency. This is always a good thing.
